It’s the coolest thing ever. I spent my morning watching my robot clean my house. Only problem is, it makes my craziness come out.   I’ve named it Mo and I talk to it.   But don’t tell anyone.   They’ll think I’m nuts.   But Mo is definitely my new friend.   He’s really cool and does a fabulous job of sweeping the floors.   Benny hasn’t met him yet, but I think they’ll get along just fine…

Ben left yesterday for Vancouver, to spend some time with Grandma, Grampa and his aunties.  Merv and I will be joining them for New Year’s.   It’s kinda strange here now, because there’s a ton of new toys around and only me and Merv to play with them.  Oh well, we’re doing our best to enjoy the CARS toys and the train sets.   Christmas was a lot of fun – Ben managed to stay up until about 12:30 a.m. and then amazingly got up an hour later to open presents.  There’s absolutely nothing in the world like a little kid at Christmas!

Just a quick post to say we’re doing ok. Marek’s remembry thingy was great. Lots of people came – and it was wonderful to see so many people come out to support us. I’m back at work full time and honestly, it’s good to be back. I still miss alot of our “hospital” friends, but I do hear from a few of them every now and then, which is great.

Hopefully after Christmas, I’ll get back in the habit of posting regularly, although probably not as often as I used to. Our lives are fortunately not as eventful as they once were. But 2009 is going to be a great year… come – join us on the next stage of our journey…

Everyone deals with things differently. And I have to say, I love the way Ben’s mind works. One of Ben’s first questions last week was “Can we make a new baby?”. We weren’t sure quite how to answer that, so we said we’d consider it – eventually. Well, Ben’s taken that to mean we’re going to get pregnant any day now (don’t get excited – we’re soooo not there yet). He’s named the new baby “Numeric” (get it? New Marek = Numeric). He even told his pre-school teacher that his parents were making a new baby. I can’t imagine what she thinks! Hopefully no mental pictures! Too funny though.
